Schneider Electric signs agreements of intent with Innopolis Special Economic Zone and University of Innopolis at Tatarstan Government House

On March 21, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Deputy CEO of Schneider Electric Company Emmanuel Babeau.

We are sincerely glad to meet you, Minnikhanov said, welcoming the guests. He noted that cooperation with Schneider Electric and the experience of the joint work that has been gain over the years are of great importance for Tatarstan.

Minnikhanov said that the republic is grateful to Schneider Electric for its close cooperation with such large facilities as TAIF-NK Oil Refining Complex, TANECO Refining and Petrochemical Plants Complex, Kazan Helicopter Plant and others.

The implementation of the Innopolis project is actively under way in the republic and we welcome the news that Schneider Electric will cooperate with Innopolis and will open its research and development centre there.

In his turn, Emmanuel Babeau briefly told about the R & D center, which will be opened in the high-tech city of Innopolis in Tatarstan in 2017, as well as about plans for its further development.

At the end of the meeting, Schneider Electric signed agreements of intent with Innopolis Special Economic Zone and University of Innopolis.
