Main works on eliminating consequences of the accident in Agryz to be finished by the evening of Wednesday

“Main works on eliminating consequences of the explosion at ammunition dump are planned to be finished in Agryz by the evening of Wednesday, June 8”, - RT Premier Ildar Khalikov said being interviewed by journalists.
Head of republican government reminded that much damage was caused to Agryz by explosive wave notwithstanding remoteness of the settlement from the place of explosion. “There was not any undamaged building in Agryz. Unfortunately almost all social objects were damaged”, - Ildar Khalikov stated.
By words of Premier, work on restoration of social objects was carried out for two days. He noted that it was very difficult to change glasses. “Builders showed real heroism. They were working and not sleeping for two days. By today’s morning 15 000 glasses were fixed. During first 24 hours health care objects were restored, pre-school institutions were restored yesterday. For today’s morning all objects of social sector are functioning in normal mode”, - Ildar Khalikov informed.
The situation is still serious in housing fund. PM informed that builders help citizens with changing glasses, 15 points of glass cutting and giving out have been deployed in the town. “For today’s morning 40 % of windows were restored. We expect that within three days the problem will be settled”, - Ildar Khalikov said.
On 28 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in an extended joint meeting of the Main Directorate of Russian Emergencies Ministry for Tatarstan and a collegium of the Ministry for Civil Defense, Emergency Management and Natural Disaster Response of the republic which summarized results of work of the territorial subsystem of the unified state system for the prevention and elimination of emergency situations of the republic in 2025 and set tasks for 2026.
In his keyword report the Head of the Main Directorate Irek Kadamov informed that there were 3 758 man-caused fires in the republic which killed 128 people and injured 177. Through joint efforts, we have managed to reduce the number of man-caused fires by more than 10%, the number of injured by 12 per cent, however the number of killed increased by 13 people, he said.
On 28 January at a ceremony held as a part of a meeting summarizing results of work of the territorial subsystem of the unified state system for the prevention and elimination of emergency situations of the republic in 2025 and setting tasks for 2026, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and the Head of the Main Directorate of Russian Emergencies Ministry for Tatarstan Irek Kadamov handed in keys for 24 new fire and rescue vehicles purchased at the expense of the regional budget to units of the Directorate and Tatarstan Emergencies Ministry.
On 27 January, speaking at an extended meeting of the Tatarstan Prosecutor’s Office which summarized results of work of the Office for 2025 and set tasks for strengthening law and order in 2026 and which was held with participation of Russian Deputy General Prosecutor Nikoly Shishkin and the Chief Federal Inspector for the republic Viktor Demidov, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin thanked employees of the Office for good work and high professionalism.
