Rustam Minnikhanov visits Boeing design center in Moscow

On July 6, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Boeing design center in Moscow. President of Boeing in Russia and CIS Sergey Kravchenko told about the history of Boeing in Russia and its key projects.

Rustam Minnikhanov was told about engineering disciplines and training programmes of the center, and shown around training classes. The company experience in the implementation of LEAN technologies and involvement of personnel, and quality control system were presented in more detail.

Founded in 1998 in Moscow, Boeing design center is the biggest center in Eastern Europe. More than 1200 engineers, including employees of design departments and engineering companies, 250 full-time employees work at the center today.  

Rustam Minnikhanov saw the work of Boeing aviation training and research center in Skolkovo, the latest high technology center for theoretical and practical training of aviation personnel.  

The center is equipped with full flight simulators Next-Generation 737 and 777.

The research center in Skolkovo implements all projects in the sphere of civil aviation in cooperation with Russian universities and research organizations.

Minnikhanov invited specialists of Boeing to deliver lectures on aviation and aircraft engineering in Innopolis.
