Rustam Minnikhanov visits exhibition gallery in Kazan

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited exhibition centre of International institute of antiques. Head of Republic was accompanied by Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Minister of culture Airat Sibagatullin, Minister of construction, architecture and housing Irek Faizullin, Minister of youth affairs, sport and tourism Rafis Burganov. Head of ASG group of companies Aleksei Semin made presentation for guests.
Works of West European art, bit of furniture and interior of XVII-XIX centuries from the ASG collection of fine arts were presented to Rustam Minnikhanov at the exhibition hall. The collection is comprised of 1700 items. Only a part of it is presented at the exhibition hall.
In the beginning of June this year ASG gifted collection of furniture and works of art of XIX cent. to the find “Vozrozhdenie”. The collection is still in the gallery, it has been presented today to Rustam Minnikhanov.
President of Tatarstan examined the exhibition, some ASG projects were presented afterwards.
Aleksei Semin told about plans on organizing Museum of private collections in Kazan. Conception of virtual museum was also presented to Rustam Minnikhanov. According to the idea of developers it will contain high resolution photos of art works, pictures of restoration moments, and details about each exhibit. One will also be able to take part in virtual excursion.
Rustam Minnikhanov supported the idea of creating a virtual museum. He also recommended realizing the project of Museum of private collections.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. The glorious traditions are continued by modern philanthropists and patrons of Tatarstan.
On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
