On May 25, at the Moscow Kremlin, the President of Russia Vladimir Putin presented the Order of Alexander Nevsky to Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov for his special personal achievements to the state and a great contribution to strengthening the international standing of the Russian Federation.

On May 25, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and President of Rostelecom (Russia's long-distance telephony provider) Mikhail Oseevsky discussed the development of the telecommunications infrastructure in the region, implementation of joint projects, including elimination of digital inequality.
