On April 25, answering journalists’ questions after a session of the Executive committee of the Consulting council on foreign investments, held at SEZ “Alabuga”, First Deputy of Russian Government Igor Shuvalov and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov expressed their opinion that Tatarstan leadership carries out a purposeful and systematic work to attract foreign investors in the region and this yields results.

On April 25 First Deputy Chairman of Russian Government Igor Shuvalov held a session of the Foreign Investment Advisory Council held at SEZ “Alabuga”. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the session.

On April 25 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with First Deputy Chief of Staff of Russian Government Maksim Akimov, who came to Tatarstan to study the experience in creating innovative infrastructure.

On April 24 at IX Kazan venture fair Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the fair is one of successful events in the sphere of venture business in Russia. However, event managers should always find new ideas and projects.

On April 23 Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs and Sport Khalil Shaikhutdinov, President of National Badminton Federation of Russia Sergey Shakhrai, and Secretary General of European Badminton Federation Brian Agerbak took part in official opening ceremony of XXIV European Badminton Championship in Kazan (April 23-27). More than 250 sportsmen from 36 countries will take part in the event.

On April 23 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a plenary session of international conference “Partnership for development of clusters” organized by the Association of innovative regions of Russia and Russian Ministry of Economic Development at Kazan IT park.
