Tatarstan expects that the commodity turnover with Belarus will go up. The issue was in the focus at the meeting of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Belarus Prime Minister Sergei Sidorsky in Minsk on August 12. At the beginning of the meeting, Sergei Sidorsky expressed his condolences over deaths caused by fires in Russia.

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov has arrived in Belarus with working visit. He was met by First deputy minister for foreign affairs of Belarus Republic Igor Petrishenko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russian Federation in Belarus Republic Aleksandr Surikov, Mayor of Minsk city Nikolai Ladutko and Chief of department for managing Russian regions under Ministry of interiors of Belarus Republic Stanislav Chepurnoi.

Chairman of RF government Vladimir Putin held meeting on issues of using GLONASS technologies for the benefit of social-economic development of regions in Ryazan oblast. RT prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in the meeting. Vladimir Putin informed that today Russian government is developing a conception of new federal target program GLONASS meant for the period till 2020.

“Tatarstan has always been a region with developed aircraft building, helicopter engineering and instrument making”, - Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said at opening of the 5th international exhibition “Airspace technologies. Modern materials and equipment - 2010”. The exposition traditionally located on the territory of exhibition centre “Kazan fair”.

Agreement between RT government and JSC “United aircraft building corporation” on issues of complex development of JSC “Kazan aviation production association named after S.P.Gorbunov” has been signed in Kazan. The document was signed within frameworks of 5th international exhibition “Airspace technologies. Modern materials and equipment - 2010”.

Tagir Kharmatullin was assigned to the post of Head of executive committee of Mendeleevsk municipal region at the session of Council of Mendeleevsk region. RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in the session.

First World Fire-Fighting and Rescue Sport Junior Championship was started at stadium “Trudovye reservy” in Kazan. RT President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in opening ceremony. Mobile brigades of rescuers demonstrated rendering aid to the injured in road accidents and fire extinguishing. The event ended with enormous salute and solemn forming-up of participating teams. Head of republic addressed participants and fans with welcoming speech.

First deputy chairman of RF government Igor Shuvalov held working meeting on issues of organizing visit of FIFA inspection commission to Russia. The meeting was held in House of RF government in Moscow. RT President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the event.
