Leadership of Krasnodar region plans to use Tatarstan experience in implementation of IT technologies in state management. This was said today by the governor of Kuban Aleksandr Tkachev while visiting IT park in Kazan. Numerous delegation consisted of heads of ministries, departments and municipal formations of Krasnodar region was accompanied by RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Deputy prime minister – minister of informatization and communications Nikolay Nikiforov.

Today RT President Rustam Minnikhanov participates in I international forum “Technologies in machine building 2010”. The forum takes place in Zhukovsky city (Moscow region) on June, 30 - July,4 on the territory of transport – exhibition complex “Russia” – the traditional place for holding air shows “MAKS”.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad, the former Prime Minister of Malaysia, on June 29. The meeting was held at the Tatarstan House of Government. Greeting the guest, Rustam Minnikhanov thanked him for the visit and the attention to the 2nd International Islamic Business and Finance Summit the opening ceremony of which Mahathir Mohamad attended.

From June, 30 regime of emergency situation is established in Republic due to drought. An operational staff for assessing situation and damage caused to agricultural enterprises in connection with destruction of some part of harvest, development of measures on reducing consequences of drought on fields will be created in republic. This was announced today by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov at traveling seminar-meeting on issues of work of RT agro-industrial complex under particular conditions this year.

By the end of year it is planned to issue 5 000 utilization certificates within the limits of realizing the second stage of program on utilizing old cars in Tatarstan. It was said by RT Deputy Minister of industry and trade Gulnara Akhmadeeva. Results of the first stage of program on utilizing old cars were summarized today in RT Cabinet. Gulnara Akhmadeeva reminded that the program of exchanging an old car for getting a discount of 50 000 roubles when buying a new home-made car in Russia started on March, 8 and had to be finished on November,1. But by June, 20 Russian dealers handed 200 000 certificates on utilization to car owners.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and chargé d'affaires ad interim of Bahrain at the Kazan Kremlin on June 28.


RT State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev received former Prime minister of Malaysia Dr. Mahathir Mohamad. Mr Mahathir Mohamad worked as Prime Minister of Malaysia in 1981-2003. In this period of time Malaysia, a country with poorly developed agrarian economy turned into one of modern, highly developed countries of Southeastern Asia. Mintimer Shaimiev and Mahathir Mohamad shared out memories about their meeting in April 1997 in the course of official visit of the first Tatarstan President to Malaysia.

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov met with President of Association of financial-industrial groups of Russia Oleg Soskovets in Kazan Kremlin. The parties discussed cooperation between Tatarstan and Association of financial-industrial groups of Russia on some investment projects, state of Tatarstan economy, development of the most priority industrial sectors.

Lately we are witnessing development of cooperation with many Islamic countries. We can say that Russia has defined strategic partners at Muslim East. It has become a predicted partner of Islamic world. This was announced today by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov at the second international summit of Islamic business and finance.

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov met with creative group headed by Boris Krasnov and Igor Krutoy in House of RT government. Guests had been invited to Kazan by Rustam Minnikhanov.
