Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with first deputy chairman of JSC “Alfa-Bank” Directors board Oleg Sysuev. The meeting was held in House of RT government with participation of Aide to RT President Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.

The fourth national holiday of Chuvash culture “Uyav” was celebrated in Nurlat region of Tatarstan Republic. RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in the event. Tatarstan Prime Minister and representatives of Chuvash Republic were met by national groups from various Russian regions.
July 3, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the federal festival of Sabantui that was celebrated in Izhevsk, the Udmurt Republic this year. Udmurt President Aleksandr Volkov, Head of the Nizhnekamsk Municipal District Aidar Metshin, representatives of the World Congress of Tatars also attended the festival.

Education, the priority national project, has functioned as an accelerator for systemic modernization of education in regions in many aspects. The statement was made by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at the meeting of the Council under the Russian President on implementation of national projects and demographic policy.
July 2, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is visiting the Tambov Oblast where the meeting of the Presidium of the Russian Presidential Council for implementation of priority national projects is to take place. Chairman of the Russian Government Vladimir Putin will chair the Council meeting.
According to Tatarstan statistics for July, 1, 2010 914 000 m² of housing has been constructed in Tatarstan (46 % of yearly plan). Multi-apartment housing - 456 000 m², private housing – 457 000 m². 160 000 m² of housing is planned to be commissioned by program of social mortgage.

Issues of further development of the aviation branch and prospects of the Kazan Aviation Production Association named after Tupolev were discussed at the meeting of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Mikhail Pogosyan, the Director General of JSC " Aviation holding company "Sukhoi" , on July 1.
JSC Tatneft and the German Preiss Daimler Group have officially put into operation the P-D Tatneft Alabuga Fibre Glass joint venture. The plant, unique for Russia, will manufacture import-substituting products, fibre glass and its derivatives.
Russia’s economy minister Elvira Nabiullina praised Tatarstan’s achievements in promoting and supporting small business. She said it at the opening of the Master industrial park’s phase 3 in Naberezhnye Chelny. The Master IP was set up in 2004 by the Tatarstan government and Kamaz automaker on a fifty-fifty basis. The production facilities took a total of 115 thousand square metres, while office premises were located on 33 thousand square metres.

Recently, the Krasnodar Krai has been changing actively to become more investment attractive. It offers the other regions the example to follow, the Tatarstan President stated at the Kazan Kremlin after the meeting with Krasnodar Krai Governor Aleksandr Tkachev.
