Agreement on cooperation in the sphere of developing info-communication technologies and services on the territory of Tatarstan has been signed today between RT Cabinet and ZAO “ER-Telecom Holding”. RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Director general of ZAO “ER-Telecom Holding” Andrey Semerikov put their signatures in the documents. The Agreement was signed in House of RT government within the limits of meeting between RT President Rustam Minnikhanov and Vice-President of JSC “Lukoil”, president of “Lukoil Overseas Holding Ltd” Andrey Kuzyaev.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in session of RF State Council Presidium in Belgorod oblast. The session of RF State Council Presidium on measures on faster development of meat livestock sector as priority area of providing foodstuff safety in Russia is held by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. Dmitry Medvedev reminded that First deputy chairman of RF government Viktor Zubkov and RF Minister of agriculture Elena Skrynnik informed him on situation and measures taken in regions in connection with drought. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Voronezh oblast and held meeting with governor of Voronezh oblast Aleksey Gordeev. Rustam Minnikhanov and Aleksey Gordeev discussed perspectives of long-term bilateral cooperation and forthcoming visit of Voronezh delegation to Republic of Tatarstan.

Head of RT Ministry of education and science Albert Gilmutdinov announced at briefing in RT Cabinet that after realization of strategy on developing educational system in RT for 2010-2015 years republican education should become a branded one. As the minister stressed the strategy of developing educational system in RT which had been presented to Rustam Minnikhanov is planned to be realized within 6 years in three stages. The first 2-year stage will focus on modernization of system of school education. About 25 bln. roubles are required for its realization.

Chairman of RT committee on development of small and medium entrepreneurship Timur Shagivaleev informed at a meeting on issue of program realization in 2010 that on July, 13 new stage of program “Leasing - grant” had started in Tatarstan. The meeting was conducted by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov in format of video conference with participation of all municipal regions of republic.

For the last 10 years Tatarstan has been harvesting crops in scope of 4-5 mln. tons annually. It is said that this year no more than 1 mln. tons will be harvested on Tatarstan fields. This information was given by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov at a session of RF government presidium. The session was held in Moscow by Chairman of Russian government Vladimir Putin. The key issue for discussion was coping with drought consequences in RF regions. Heads of regions badly suffered from drought and abnormal high temperatures attended the session.

Today RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov presented new Head to the staff of ombudsman office in RT – Saria Saburskaya. Earlier Saria Saburskaya headed Department of social development under RT Cabinet office. On July, 8 deputies of RT State Council approved candidacy of Saria Saburskaya at the session. In accordance with clause 75 of RT Constitution, RT State Council resolved to elect her to the post of Ombudsman in RT.

VIII all-Russian summer rural sports games started in Elabuga on July, 9. First Deputy Chairman of the RF Government Viktor Zubkov and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn opening ceremony. The ceremony took place at central stadium of Elabuga city. First Vice-premier of the RF Government Viktor Zubkov addressed the participants of competitions with welcoming speech. He read out the official congratulation on behalf of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.
