Preparation and organization of the All-Russian census in Tatarstan were discussed at the meeting. The Republic of Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov held a meeting with deputy head of the Federal Government Statistics Service Irina Masakova on Tuesday.

Creation of family dairy farms should become a priority direction for Tatarstan’s agroindustrial complex, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said at the republican seminar-meeting on the development of family dairy farms. The seminar was held in the Kukmor Municipal District, Tatarstan.

The ceremony in honour of the Dinamo Kazan field hockey team was held at the Kazan Kremlin on August 3. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated the Dinamo Kazan players on becoming Russian champions for the seventh time.

By the end of 2010 via electronic self-service kiosks (infomats) citizens of republic will be able to pay GIBDD fines, receipts for auto maintenance checkup, car registration and taking driving exam. This has been announced today by Head of GIBDD MVD on RT Rifkat Minnikhanov at briefing in RT Cabinet. Briefing was traditionally held in format of video conference with participation of all municipal regions. Any user of internet could take part in briefing on – line (www.prav.tatar.ru ).

The foundation stone of educational building of Volga state academy of physical culture, sport and tourism was laid in Kazan on the territory of Universiade village. In the ceremony took part President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, RF Deputy minister of sport, tourism and youth policy Pavel Novikov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Head of RT Ministry of education and science Albert Gilmutdinov, RT Minister of youth affairs, sport and tourism Rafis Burganov, Head of Universiade directorate Vladimir Leonov and other officials.

Turkmenistan is ready to buy more than a thousand KAMAZ trucks and special cars manufactured in Tatarstan. The statement was made by Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov at the meeting with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov on August 2. The delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan led by Rustam Minnikhanov is on a two-day visit to Turkmenistan (1-2 August 2010).

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in Turkmenistan with two-day visit. He was met by officials of Turkmenistan headed by the President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov. Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov congratulated Rustam Minnikhanov on appointment to the post of RT President and thanked him for contribution into strengthening cooperation between Russia and Turkmenistan, Tatarstan and Turkmenistan. By words of Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov the present visit would favor expansion of mutually beneficial relations between Tatarstan and Turkmenistan.

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov met with President of International university sports federation (FISU) George Killian in Kazan Kremlin. We remind that President of FISU George Killian, Secretary General of FISU Erik Santron and member of FISU executive committee – President of Russian sport student union Oleg Matytsin arrived in the capital of Tatarstan by invitation of Rustam Minnikhanov.

Memorandum of intentions on creating International educational centre FISU in Russia has been signed in Moscow by President of International Sport University Federation (FISU) George Killian, RF Minister of sport, tourism and youth policy Vitaly Mutko, president of Russian student sports union Oleg Matytsin and President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

A session on prevention and liquidation of emergency situations and ensuring fire safety in RT has been held in RT Cabinet by First vice-premier Ravil Muratov. At the beginning of session Ravil Muratov reminded that work on preventing emergency situation had been intensified not in all cities and regions of Tatarstan. In accordance with decision of commission starting from July,24 Chief administration of RF Ministry of emergency situations on RT has been conducting complex of actions aimed at ensuring fire safety in Tatarstan settlements for the period of abnormal hot weather.
