On May 24, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin and Armenian Ambassador to Russia Vardan Toghanyan discussed prospects for the development of cooperation between Tatarstan and Armenia as part of Russia-Armenia relations, the expansion of the range and volume of mutual trade, the strengthening of relations in the humanitarian sphere, in particular, in education, sport, tourism, culture and art.
On May 24, Prime Minister of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin took part in the conference “Information technology of industrial Russia-2017” in Innopolis (May 24-26). Russian Minister of Communications Nikolay Nikiforov arrived to take part in the event.

On May 23, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan on holding a summer recreation campaign, Minister of Youth Affairs and Sport of the republic Vladimir Leonov said that this year more than 218,000 young residents of the republic will have a rest in recreation summer camps, which is 3610 people more as compared to the previous year.
