On March 19 Russian Deputy Minister of Energy Anton Inyutsyn, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Khamza Bagmanov, Rector of Kazan State Power Engineering University Edward Abdullazyanov visited the Centre of competence and energy-saving technologies at Kazan State Power Engineering University, a platform for developing state-of-the-art energy-saving technologies.
On March 18, at a briefing at Tatarstan Government House, it was reported that in worst-case scenario 216 settlements in 42 municipalities (6,910 houses and 18,846 people) may be affected by spring flooding in Tatarstan. Moreover, 75.3km of motor roads, 36 road bridges, 48 socially important and 27 economic facilities may be affected as well. There are no oil, gas and product pipelines, as well as animal burial sites in the possible flood zone.
On March 18 at their meeting in Kazan, Tatarstan State Counsellor, Chairman of Guardian Council of the Regional Foundation “Revival” Mintimer Shaimiev and Chairman of supervision council of State Corporation "Housing and Utility Reform Foundation" Sergey Stepashin discussed issues for further cooperation between Tatarstan and Housing and Utility Reform Foundation.
On March 18 Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov held a session on results of the regional energy saving and efficiency programme implemented in 2013, and setting tasks for 2014 within the framework of the exhibition “Energy. Resource saving”.
On March 18 at a briefing at RT Government House on development of relations between Tatarstan and Crimea in the sphere of tourism and children’s holidays, Head of Tatarstan Tourism Agency Sergey Ivanov said that 5.9 million tourists, including 2.3 million Russian tourists, visited Crimea in 2013. There are 800 health and recreation centres in Crimea, he noted.
On March 18, XV International exhibition “Energy. Resource saving” started its work in Kazan. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of supervision council of State Corporation “Housing and Utility Reform Foundation” Sergey Stepashin, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Anton Inyutsyn, Director General of Housing and Utility Reform Foundation Konstantin Tsitsin took part in a solemn opening ceremony of the exhibition at the Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Center.

On March 17 construction of new energy-efficient house was started in Kazan (Kirovsky district, 2, Khalturina st.). A capsule with high performance building materials was laid to mark the start of construction.
On March 17 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with members of volleyball club Dinamo-Kazan, winners of the Champions League 2013/2014.
On March 17 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with Chairman of supervision council of State Corporation "Housing and Utility Reform Foundation" Sergey Stepashin and Board Chairman of State Corporation "Housing and Utility Reform Foundation" Konstantin Tsitsin, who came to Kazan to take part in regional meeting on implementation of programmes of capital repair of common property of multi-apartment houses and relocation of citizens from hazardous housing stock.
On March 17, at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and executives of Ernst&Young discussed prospects for further cooperation between Tatarstan and the company.
