RF Minister of transport Igor Levitin and President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited memorial services in remembrance of the dead upon wreck of “Bulgaria” vessel that were held in Peter and Paul Cathedral and the oldest Mosque “Al-Mardjani” in Kazan. At Peter and Paul Cathedral of Kazan eparchy His Grace Anastasy administered the burial service for the perished because of tragedy.

In accordance with the latest data for 10.00 in the morning 66 corpses of the perished have been retrieved from the water at the wreck site of “Bulgaria” vessel. 55 of them were transported to Republican bureau of forensic medical examination (Kazan).

Of 55 people perished upon wreck of “Bulgaria” vessel 34 have been identified for 6 o’clock of July,12. By and large according to the latest data corpses of 58 perished people were lifted up from water in disaster area (39 women, 5 children, 14 men). The list of identified people according to the data for 6 o’clock of July,12 is given by RT Ministry of civil defence and emergency situations.

The official list of passengers and crewmen of “Bulgaria” vessel being on board during the wreck including unregistered passengers is placed at the web site of RT Ministry of civil defence and emergency situations.

For 14 o’clock on July,11 list of the perished because of “Bulgaria” vessel wreck in Kamsko-Ustinsky region has increased by 13 people. Such data was given by the Ministry of emergency situations on RT. 79 people were rescued. By 13 o’clock corpses of the 6 perished people were transported to Republican bureau of forensic medical examination. The identification procedure has started. RT President Rustam Minnikhanov signed an Edict № УП-398 dated as of 11.07.2011 “On announcing the mourning in connection with tragic events in Tatarstan Republic” in connection with wreck of “Bulgaria” vessel happened in Kuibyshev water basin on July,10,2011. According to the Edict July 12, 2011 is announced the Day of mourning in the Republic of Tatarstan.

“July 12 will be announced the Day of mourning in Tatarstan in connection with loss of passengers of “Bulgaria” vessel in Kamsko-Ustinski region of RT”, - RT President Rustam Minnikhanov informed at a session of emergency operations centre. The session took place at Ministry of interiors on RT (Dzerzhinskogo st., Kazan) in format of video conference with participation of RT Minister of civil defence and emergency situations on RT Rafis Khabibullin.

“Head of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev charged RT President Rustam Minnikhanov with rendering necessary help to the injured and families of the lost upon wrecking of the ship “Bulgaria”, - RT Premier Ildar Khalikov informed. Head of Tatarstan Government said that currently rescue operations were carried out at the scene of the accident. Search is being conducted on the bank and in the basin of Kuibyshev water storage with the help of vessels of Ministry of emergency situations, Ministry of interiors and other involved ones. “We hope to rescue some more people”, - Ildar Khalikov said.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov decided to break off his vocation in connection with emergency situation happened with “Bulgaria” vessel. In the nearest hours he will fly to Kazan in order to lead the emergency operations centre personally.
