President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited international airport “Kazan” and checked safety ensuring. He was accompanied by Head of Ministry of interiors on RT Asgat Safarov, RT Minister of transport and road construction Lenar Safin and Tatarstan Acting Transport Prosecutor Ruslan Tsechoev.Head of Republic visited arrival and departure halls of internal flights, customs control area of international departures sector. At the entrance to the airport Rustam Minnikhanov passed standard control procedure.

Agreement on cooperation in realizing measures under State program of agricultural development and regulation of markets of agricultural production, feed and foodstuff was signed by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of Dept. of JSC “Russian Agricultural Bank” Dmitri Patrushev. The document was signed in House of RT Government in the course of meeting between Rustam Minnikhanov and Dmitri Patrushev.The Agreement was concluded till December, 31, 2012.Realization of the agreement will favor expansion of credit resource availability, provision of stable development of rural areas, modernization of households, increase of employment and living standards of citizens.

February 16. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with Claude-Louis Gallien, the first Vice President of FISU (FISU), in the House of Government of the Republic of Tatarstan. Claude-Louis Gallien arrived in the capital of Tatarstan for a three-day working visit (16-18 February 2011) on behalf of George Killian, FISU President. During the meeting with Rustam Minnikhanov, there were conducted talks on preparation for the Summer Universiade - 2013 and the construction of sports infrastructure in Kazan. In addition, the participants of the meeting discussed the concept of creation the International Education Center FISU in Kazan on the basis of Volga Region Academy of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism.

Within the limits of RT Cabinet travelling session RT President Rustam Minnikhanov visited district centre of competence of the program “Electronic education” in Nurlat region - school №9. RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Chairman of RT State Council Farid Mukhametshin also took part in the event. The school won contest within the limits of national project “Education” and in 2011 it has become a district centre of competence of the program “Electronic education”.

Elabuga region managed to realize all rather ambitious tasks set before it. This was announced by RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov at reporting session of Elabuga municipal region Board. RT Vice-premier – Minister of energy Ilshat Fardiev, Chairman of RT State Committee on tariffs Rauzil Khaziev, Chairman of RT Committee on supporting small amd medium entrepreneurship Timur Shagivaleev attended the session.Head of municipal formation Gennadi Emelianov reported on results of 2010. He told about social and eocnomic development of Elabuga region. Accroding to the given information, average wage for January-November 2010 made 15908 roubles. Level of unemployment for the beginning of 2010 was 5,15 % and reduced by the end of year by 2,79 %.

High level of ARVI and flue rate in Tatarstan will keep up for two weeks, Deputy Head of Dept. of Federal agency for health and consumer rights on RT Vladimir Trifonov said at briefing in RT Cabinet.By his words, more than 33,8 ARVI and flue cases were registered in republic for the 6th week. Epidemiological flue threshold in Tatarstan exceeds 99 %.
Most sickness rates were marked in Leninogorsk, Nizhnekamsk and Almetievsk regions.

For January-December 2010 volume of shipped home-made production, works and services of large and medium-size enterprises of Mamadysh municipal region made 2,6 bln. roubles. Economic turnover in the region per 2010 made 7 bln. rounbles (by 12,9 % more than in 2009). Such information was presented today by Head of the region Anatoli Ivanov at IV board session of Mamadysh municipal region.RT President Rustam Minnikhanov, RT Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of agriculture and foodstuff Marat Akhmetov, Chairman of RT Board of municipal formations Minsagit Shakirov and others attended the session.

Fabruary,15. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in solemn housing in new flats of GPW veterans and participants of republican program of social mortgage in Mamadysh municipal region. We remind that Head of Republic is currently in Mamadysh region with working visit. Investors of construction of two houses were State housing fund under RT President, general contractors – ZAO “Mamadyshstroi” and ZAO “Stroiservis”.Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated veterans on this event. “Many of you have been waiting for this for decades. Within the limits of federal program of improving veterans’ living conditions all people who are meant to gain subsidies will be provided with new flats”, - RT President said.

The presence of cable television should not deprive the citizens of the Republic of Tatarstan of possibility to receive the terrestrial digital signal. It was announced on February 14 by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov during the meeting with Andrei Romanchenko, Director General of the Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting Network (RTRS). The meeting was held in the House of Parliament of the Republic of Tatarstan; the session was also attended by Ildar Khalikov, Prime Minister, Nikolai Nikiforov, Deputy Prime-Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Communications and Informatization of RT, heads of the departments, as well as the Republican television and radio broadcasting companies.

Prime Minister of Tatarstan Republic Ildar Khalikov met with Consul general of Turkish Republic in Kazan Akhmet Akynty. The meeting was held in House of RT government with participation of Director of Department for external relations under RT President - Aide to RT President on international issues Timur Akulov, RT Minister of transport and road construction Lenar Safin, First deputy minister of industry and trade Igor Nosov and others.Welcoming Akhmet Akynty Ildar Khalikov congratulated him on assignment to a position of Consul general of Turkish Republic in Kazan. He noted that Tatarstan Republic and Turkish Republic are united by warm relationships, common traditions, language, history and culture.
