Rustam Minnikhanov meets representatives of the Zen Noh agricultural federation

On October 2, during his working visit to Japan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with senior executives of the the Zen Noh agricultural federation.

The Zen Noh is a national federation of agricultural cooperatives in Japan. It consists of 1012 cooperative unions with an annual turnover of 44 billion US dollars.

The Federation cooperates with the world’s leading agricultural cooperative associations and also actively purchases food products and various goods for the Japanese agricultural sector from around the world.

To present high quality of agricultural products, representatives of the cooperative offered to taste rice milk and two kinds of grapes grown in Yamanashi Prefecture.

The meeting discussed joint projects in the field of agriculture, the creation of local production facilities based on Japanese technologies, as well as the supply of agricultural products from Tatarstan to Japan and from Japan to Tatarstan.

Minnikhanov gave an errand to study the experience of the Zen Noh Federation and develop a plan for further cooperation.

Minister of Information and Communication of the republic Roman Shaikhutdinov, Aide to Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov, Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina and other officials took part in the meeting.
