Minnikhanov meets Director General of Roskosmos State Corporation Igor Komarov during his working visit to Moscow

On October 12, during his working visit to Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Roskosmos State Corporation, where he had a meeting with its Director General Igor Komarov. 

At a working meeting held afterwards, perspective areas of cooperation between Tatarstan and the Corporation were discussed.

Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities of the republic Irek Fayzullin and senior managers of the Roskosmos State Corporation took part in the meeting.

The parties discussed areas for interaction in the educational sphere, as well as agreed to establish closer scientific and technical cooperation. The meeting also discussed the fulfillment of orders for manufacturing technical facilities for the space industry by regional industrial enterprises.

Moreover, Minnikhanov and Komarov agreed to attract regional specialists of the construction industry to jointly implement the Roskomos projects. In particular, they talked about collaboration on the Vostochny Cosmodrome project.
