TANECO and Chevron Lummus Global LLC sign memorandum of intent in San Francisco

On October 24, during Global Technology Symposium, TANECO (subsidiary of Tatneft) and Chevron Lummus Global LLC signed memorandum of intent aimed at increasing production efficiency at TANECO complex.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the signing ceremony. The first memorandum concerns development of feasibility study of the construction of the unit for producing catalyzers using precious metals in Nizhnekamsk (the town in the Republic of Tatarstan).

The second document implies development of feasibility study of the production of branded lubricants and services to support the design in the production of lubricating oils in Nizhnekamsk.

Signing of the memorandums will be an important stage of long-term strategic partnerships of the companies.

The cooperation of Chevron Lummus Global LLC and Tatneft has been developing since 2006, when the license agreement and agreement for the design of a hydrocracker unit at Nizhnekamsk oil refining plant were signed.

On 24 February during his working trip to Zelenodolsk region Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin together with the Head of the region Mikhail Afanasyev took part in a ceremony of handing in medals “80 years to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII)” to two war veterans, a residents of the blockaded Leningrad and the home front worker living in the region.

Aleksey Pesoshin hands in a jubilee medal dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory to a lady-home front worker in Verkhniy Uslon

On 18 February during his working trip to the Village of Verkhniy Uslon Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin had a meeting with the home front worker Khazyar Shaykhlislamova, who was born on 26 December 1929 and during all years of the WWII worked as a milkmaid in the Izmerskiy sovkhoz, and handed her in a jubilee medal dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.
