Ildar Khalikov speaks at plenary session of III EU-Russia Innovation Forum

“We are interested in the EU experience in development of innovation infrastructure, adoption of innovations in production,” Tatarstan PM Ildar Khalikov stated at a plenary session of the 3rd EU-Russia Innovation Forum addressing participants of the event.
To the point, head of the RT Government is on a working trip in Finland to take part in the 3rd EU-Russia Innovation Forum and 21st EBN Annual Congress.
The event is held in Lappeenranta on the basis of the Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT).
Ildar Khalikov congratulated everyone on opening of the 3rd EU-Russia Innovation Forum and invited to see the Tatarstan exposition displayed at the forum.
The Republic of Tatarstan was presented by a solid delegation comprised of specialists of universities, industrial enterprises, top management of some innovative platforms – technoprks, technopolises and officials of governmental structures of republic. Tatarstan is one of stably and dynamically developing regions in Russia.
Tatarstan PM told about economic results achieved in 2011 and prospective projects to be realized in the nearest time.
“Today we are interested in experience of best world experts like EBN members,” Ildar Khalikov said and reminded that technopark Idea became the EBN member in 2009.
The PM invited everyone to visit Tatarstan and get acquainted with innovative platforms and infrastructure created in republic.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
On 31 March in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva hold a meeting of the Commission on the Russian language under the Rais of Tatarstan, which considered key issues of supporting and developing Russian language, including new educational initiatives and discussed programmes of popularization of Russian literature and activities to preserve the language heritage.
On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Azat Ziganshin informed that the regional central cleaning up action will be held in the republic on 25 April and clarified that the location of the national cleanup day will be announced later as the site will be chosen taking into account the opinions of Tatarstan residents.
