On August 5, at their working meeting in Moscow, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Roman Shaykhutdinov and Director General of Aeroflot Company Mikhail Poluboyarinov discussed issues of strategic cooperation in the development of Innopolis innovation centre.
In particular, they discussed the current status of the implementation of the joint project of Aeroflot Company and Innopolis University on the development and implementation of an aircraft refuelling system based on blockchain technology.
Cooperation between the Aeroflot and Innopolis University started in 2016. During this time, the parties implemented several joint projects for training, technical support and research. Recent projects include applied research on the use of computer vision to detect surface defects in aircraft engine fan blades, as well as training the Aeroflot employees at Innopolis University on the programme of development of anti-crisis leaders and digital economy teams in data-based management competencies.
