The third All-Russian championship on artificial intelligence starts in Innopolis
On October 26, Innopolis started the All-Russian Championship “Digital Breakthrough. Season: Artificial Intelligence”, one of the projects of the Presidential Platform “Russia is a Land of Opportunities”, where during a month of online training the strongest programmers will create working solutions for Innopolis University, Sheremetyevo International Airport, the Russian Post and compete for the prize fund of 3 million roubles.
Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Roman Shaykhutdinov welcomed the participants of the championship: “The issue of artificial intelligence is now a must for every country, and the AI specialist is one of the most popular vacancies in all companies on the Forbes list. Russia pays special attention to this area: in 2021, the country launched six support centers for artificial intelligence, four in Moscow, one in Saint Petersburg and one in Tatarstan, in Innopolis, where this championship takes place. Today this centre is operating successfully on the basis of the University of Innopolis and addressing priority sectors of the economy”.
At the All-Russian Championship, the participants will have to solve three tasks, one of which is from Innopolis University.
Digital Breakthrough. Season: Artificial Intelligence project is aimed at creating a personnel selection system for solving problems, search, development and support of talented, promising specialists who want to create products and services using artificial intelligence technologies, increasing the level of providing the Russian market of AI technologies with qualified personnel, as well as the formation and development of the AI-community, promotion and development of products using artificial intelligence.
