Rustam Minnikhanov: We should make the best use of good weather to finish harvesting sugar beet

On October 19 at a regional video-conference meeting at Tatarstan Government House First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Minsagir Nurtdinov reported that 41.2 thousand hectares of sugar beet (or 72% of the total volume) harvested in Tatarstan.
Minsagir Nurtdinov noted that weather conditions restrict harvesting operations. The largest areas of sugar beet to be harvested are in Zainsky, Buinsky, Nyrlatsky and Sarmanovsky municipal districts.
Rustam Minnikhanov asked to provide timely pick-up of harvested sugar beet from the fields and make the best use of good weather to finish harvesting campaign.
First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Minsagir Nurtdinov also reported that fodder conservation is underway in the republic.
It was mentioned that about 12 thousand tractors, 4 thousand combine harvesters, seeding-machines and cultivators have to be repaired in regions in winter. At present, works on preparing agricultural equipment for winter storage are underway.
Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in the meeting.

On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
