1 mln 768,5 thousand m² of housing commissioned in Tatarstan

On October 18 at a regional meeting at Tatarstan Government House Head of the Department for Construction, Transport, Housing-Communal Services and Roads Ildar Sibgatullin informed that 1 mln 768,5 thousand m² of housing were commissioned in Tatarstan that makes 73,7% of the year plan. Commitments on transferring funds to State Housing Fund were practically fulfilled in the amount of 6,646 mln rubles.
Ildar Khalikov reminded that a large number of documents are now available in electronic format due to the project “Open Tatarstan”, and heads of regions can check out necessary information before the meeting.
Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Municipal Economy Irek Faizullin mentioned the session of the Presidential Council for housing policy and accessibility that was held by First Deputy Chairman of Russian Government Igor Shuvalov, where the decision about constructing 25 mln m² of economy-class housing in 2014-2017 was made.
Irek Faizullin also focused on the programme on liquidation of unfit housing, saying that 12330 citizens will move from 713 houses by the end of 2014.
Ildar Khalikov reminded heads of municipal regions that development of regional programmes for 2014 will be finished soon.
Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in the meeting.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
On 1 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in N.I. Lobachevsky Prize and Medal Award Ceremony held in Kazan Federal University and handed in the award to the Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chief Researcher of the St. Petersburg Department of Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergei Ivanov who was awarded for the outstanding achievements in fundamental and applied mathematics.
