More than 10 thousand places to be provided at Tatarstan pre-school institutions in 2014

On January 31 at a session of Tatarstan Ministry of Education and Science Head of the Ministry Engel Fattakhov informed that more than 10 thousand places will be provided at Tatarstan pre-school institutions in 2014.
Implementation of a three-year programme aimed at providing places at pre-school educational institutions started in the republic. More than 30 thousand places are to be provided by 2016.
Among problems in pre-school educational system Engel Fattakhov pointed out the decreasing number of nurseries and special groups. He noted that in accordance with Federal educational standard that came into force on January 1, 2014, this work should be intensified. Also, the new standard requires professional development of teaching staff.
On 8 October before the beginning of the plenary session of the international business-”TIME: Russia-India. Mutual Efficiency”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin visited an exposition located on the sidelines of the forum on the first and the second floors of the Rameev IT Park in Kazan and got acquainted with the stands of the companies participating in the exhibition.
On 1 October, in his address congratulating old people and old stagers with the International Day of Older Persons, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote:” Today we pay tribute to you, the people whose work has become the foundation of the wealth and prosperity of our republic.
On 27 in his congratulatory address to machine building workers and old stagers of the branch of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with their professional holiday and wrote: “The Day of the Machine Worker is the honor and acknowledgement of your work which plays the most important role in the development of economy and techniques of the republic. You create innovative solutions and reliable machines which serve for the benefit of the society. Your knowledge, perseverance and patience help the republic to go ahead, overcoming all hardships.
On 27 September, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin informed that the readiness of social and cultural facilities to the heating season in the republic has reached 100 per cent.
