On February 24 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in Barcelona with a working visit to study the experience in developing city facilities and architecture in one of the most beautiful European cities.
Tatarstan President is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Artem Sidorov, Minister of Transport and Roads Lenar Safin, and Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov.
During his trip Rustam Minnikhanov will meet with Chief Architect of Barcelona Vicente Guallart to see presentation of Barcelona experience in the sphere of urban environment, visit household waste recycling centre and learn about information and communication solutions, and make a walking and bus tour around the city.
On 4 February the first four starts hotel KRAVT HOTEL INNOPOLIS, the construction of which was financed also by loans at preferential rate subsidized from the federal budget within the federal programme “Tourism and Hospitality” and which will be directly managed by the KravtGroup, opened in the Town of Innopolis. Guests already can book rooms in the hotel starting from 1 February.
On 2 February in his address on the occasion of the defeat of German troops in battle of Stalingrad, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic, war veterans and home front workers with the Day of Military Honor of Russia dedicated to this event.
On 31 January at the regional Internal Ministry building in Kazan Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and the Internal Minister for the republic Damir Satretdinov took part in a ceremony of awarding winners of the regional “Territory of Law” competition.
On 28 January Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov took part in a meeting of the Foundation Board of the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Innovators held by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitriy Chernyshenko in Moscow.
