Three-month campaign on providing safe labour conditions and labour protection at construction sites held in Tatarstan on July 1-September 30

On August 2, at a regional meeting at Tatarstan Government House held by Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Services Irek Faizullin said that a three-month campaign on providing safe labour conditions and labour protection at construction sites is held in Tatarstan on July 1-September 30.
Irek Faizullin told that a session of interdepartmental working group on labour protection was held by results of the first month of the campaign where heads of building organizations where accidents happened presented their reports. He said that a special training on labour protection was held for 40 heads and employees of small and medium-size building organizations and inspections of observance of labour protection requirements are being held.
By and large, the Inspectorate of state building supervision conducted 575 inspections. 281 resolutions for the sum of 10 million 261 thousand roubles were passed and 4 million 366 thousand roubles of penalties were collected.

There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
On 1 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in N.I. Lobachevsky Prize and Medal Award Ceremony held in Kazan Federal University and handed in the award to the Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chief Researcher of the St. Petersburg Department of Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergei Ivanov who was awarded for the outstanding achievements in fundamental and applied mathematics.
