Rustam Minnikhanov entrusts Tatarstan Government with developing a programme on cleaning conservation areas of Volga and Kama rivers

On April 29, at a working meeting at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov entrusted Government of the republic with developing a programme on cleaning conservation areas of Volga and Kama rivers.

Along with the year of parks and squares in the Republic of Tatarstan, Minnikhanov suggested announcing 2016 the year of water protection areas of Volga and Kama rivers.

Rustam Minnikhanov required establishing a working group with public members. The main task set by the Acting President is to stop unauthorized use of riverside territories and construction, and provide conditions for public and organized leisure of citizens.
