As many as 830 multi-apartment houses are to be repaired in Tatarstan in 2016

On March 12, speaking at a regional meeting held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at Tatarstan Government House, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin said that construction of houses under the programme of relocation of citizens from dilapidated housing is underway. 

Speaking about the programme of capital repair of multi-apartment houses, Faizullin said that 830 houses are to be repaired in 2016, with the programme budgeting making 4.7 billion roubles.

He reported about replacement of lifts in multi-apartment houses in more details, saying that  this year it is expected to carry out the work centrally. Minnikhanov appreciated such approach. “All actions must be well-coordinated. We must be sure that suppliers will meet their obligations in time,” he added.

Then, Faizullin reported on the programme of capital repair of educational institutions in 2016. Ninety-five schools will be repaired, including 15 special schools and 53 pre-school organizations. As of March 11 works at 144 facilities are underway.

In 2016, 44 facilities in 39 municipalities will be improved under the Parks and Squares programme and 21 facilities in 19 municipalities will be improved under the water protection zones programme.
