Tatarstan President arrives on a working visit in Germany

On July 1, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a working visit in Federal Republic of Germany.

During his three-day stay in Germany (June 1-3) Minnikhanov will visit Saxony and Thuringia.

Minnikhanov began his working trip with visiting Dresden. Upon his arrival at the international airport of Dresden Minnikhanov headed for the German-Russian Cultural Institute, where a solemn evening dedicated to the 130th anniversary of Tatar poet Gabdulla Tukai’s birth will be held.

On June 2, Minnikhanov will visit a number of industrial sites and enterprises in Saxony. Besides, the Saxony - Tatarstan Business Forum, where industrial and investment potential of Tatarstan as one of the most dynamically developing regions of Russia will be presented, will take place

Minnikhanov is shceduled to have a meeting with Prime Minister of Saxony Stanislaw Tillich and visit the Institute of Materials and Laser Technology.

On Friday, 3 June, Minnikhanov will hold meetings and talks with German partners in Thuringia, where he will also visit Weimar and Jena.
