Rustam Minnikhanov visits High Technology Park in Minsk

On October 18, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited High Technology Park in Minsk. Accompanied by its management representatives, he looked around the building, and business incubator.

Minnikhanov was told that the High Technology Park is a special economic zone with a special taxation and legal scheme. it was created for software and ICT developers. The business incubator helps supporting new startups and developing innovative IT environment based on co-working.

More than 90 per cent of software produced in the park is exported to USA and Canada, Europe, Russia and CIS.  Unlike other high technology parks in Europe and Asia, the one in Belarus is virtual. Any company registered in Belarus can become a resident of the Park and use all benefits wherever it is located. It allows using educational, scientific, professional, and infrastructure potential of the whole country.

Rustam Minnikhanov was very interested in activity of the High Technology Park and suggested using the experience of Belarus in organization of children’s educational programmes at the park.
