Rustam Minnikhanov is taking part in World Economic Forum in Davos

On January 16, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is taking part in the World Economic Forum in Davos.

More than 2500 people from 90 countries are expected to arrive in Davos these days. Traditionally, the key aspects of the modern times, prospects of economic development, strengthening stability and peace, and the situation in combat zones will be discussed at the forum.

About 300 plenary sessions, seminars and roundtables and meetings with the participation of politicians will also be held.

In the evening, Rustam Minnikhanov will take part in solemn opening of the World Economic Forum and Crystal Award Ceremony (Congress Centre).

The Russian delegation is headed by Deputy Chairman of Russian Government Igor Shuvalov.

On January 17, Rustam Minnikhanov will attend the session “Strategic update: the future of innovations”.

During the forum Rustam Minnikhanov will also have business meetings and negotiations with representatives of foreign companies.

The working visit of Tatarstan President to Davos will last till January 19.
