Zilya Valeeva: all government bodies in Tatarstan are engaged in childhood problems

An integrated targeted policy in the sphere of support, protection and development of children is being realized in Tatarstan and almost all government bodies are engaged in childhood. problems Such suggestions were expressed today by Vice-premier of RT government Zilya Valeeva at a briefing in House of RT government on the eve of International Children’s Day.
By words of Zilya Valeeva 10 republican programs in Tatarstan are anyway connected with children interests. According to Vice-premier Tatarstan is proud of fact that 89 % of children left without parental custody are brought up in foster families. Zilya Valeeva stressed that family institution is becoming stronger in Tatarstan. Every year less orphans and children left without parental custody are found in republic. For the last five years 8 children's homes have closed, only 600 children are kept in 12 children's and foster homes.
First Deputy Minister of education Danil Mustafin informed that currently much attention is paid to maintenance of children’s health. Measures include medical examination, and mass sport competitions are being organized. Distant learning for disabled children is implemented within the limits of education development strategy “Kilechek”. Also summer recreation is organized annually for children from children's and foster homes within the limits of republican program.
On 24 February during his working trip to Zelenodolsk region of the republic, the Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a joint meeting of the Council of Zelenodolsk Municipality and the Council of the town of Zelenodolsk dedicated to results of social and economic development of the region in 2024 and tasks for 2025 and held in the Center of Cultural Development of Zelenodolsk.
On 24 February during his working trip to Zelenodolsk region Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin together with the Head of the region Mikhail Afanasyev took part in a ceremony of handing in medals “80 years to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII)” to two war veterans, a residents of the blockaded Leningrad and the home front worker living in the region.

On 18 February during his working trip to the Village of Verkhniy Uslon Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin had a meeting with the home front worker Khazyar Shaykhlislamova, who was born on 26 December 1929 and during all years of the WWII worked as a milkmaid in the Izmerskiy sovkhoz, and handed her in a jubilee medal dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.
