Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of Linde AG Aldo Belloni discuss further cooperation

On May 5, at his meeting with Director General of Linde AG Aldo Belloni in Munich, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov thanked him for the meeting and invitation to visit Munich. He noted that Linde AG and petrochemical enterprises “Kazanorgsintez”, “Nizhnekamskneftekhim”, and TAIF-NK have been successfully cooperating for two decades.

Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan is interested in the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation with the company as the world’s leader in the production of industrial gas and engineering.

Aldo Belloni told about the company’s activity and major projects. In particular, he said that Linde Gas and Linde Engineering are the main subsidiaries of Linde AG. Linde Gas includes three segments – Europe and Middle East, Asia-Pacific Region and America and is presented in 70 countries around the world.

Minnikhanov called leadership of the company for more active cooperation with the Russian market and offered to open company’s research center in Tatarstan.

The parties agreed that Linde AG will take part in the final stage of the tender to choose the Director General for the design and supply of the equipment for the new Ethylene complex at Nizhnekamskneftekhim. The decision will be announced during St. Petersburg economic forum -2017 on June 1-3.

After the meeting Msiter Belloni gave an interview about the implementation of petrochemical projects to representatives of Tatarstan media agencies.
