On October 3 at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and General Producer of CTC Medial holding, Director General of ZAO “Network of Television Stations” Vyacheslav Murugov discussed a number of cooperation issues between Tatarstan, CTC channel and CTC Media holding.

On October 3 Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev met with Secretary General of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu, who is taking part in the International economic summit of Russia and OIC countries Kazansummit 2013, in Kazan Kremlin. At the beginning of the meeting Mintimer Shaimiev noted: “We are always grateful to Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu that he, being head of powerful international organization, OIC, drew his attention to Tatarstan at very important period of our development and opened the door to Muslim world for us. This significant event has become part of the contemporary history of our republic.”

On October 3 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov took part in solemn opening of the programme “Go ahead, Tatarstan!”, a series of seminars and lectures from Google experts for teachers, businessmen, government employees, elderly Internet users, children, master classes for developers, and contests for young people.

On October 3 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov, Ambassador of Malaysia to Russia Zainol Abidin Omar visited exposition of Malaysian companies presented at Euro-Asia Expo 2013 exhibition (the exhibition centre “Kazanskaya Yarmarka”).

On October 3 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Vice-Speaker of Federation Council Ilyas Umakhanov, OIC Secretary General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu took part in Strategic forum within the framework of V international economic forum of Russia and OIC countries Kazansummit’13 in Kazan.

On October 3 Chairman of Tatarstan Government Ildar Khalikov held business meetings within the framework of international economic forum of Russian and OIC countries Kazansummit’13. He discussed prospects of cooperation with Board Chairman of “FORS” group of companies Sergey Matvienko and Director General of Turkish company “Bortech” Orhan Ihsanoglu.
