On July, 8 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in visiting session of Council on development of information society under Russian President. The session was held by RF President Dmitry Medvedev in Tver city. Members of Council under Russian President discussed issues of using information-communication technologies in social sphere (education, health care, culture).

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited production workshops at Tver rail carriage building plant. Head of Tatarstan saw the body shop, work of technological assembly equipment and production of rail carriage building plant. Main consumers of plant’s production are JSC “Russian railways”, ministries of transport of CIS countries and Administration of railways of CIS countries and Baltic states.

July,8. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is taking part in VII Tver social-economic forum “Information society”. This year more than 2000 participants from 70 Russian regions were registered for participation in forum. In the event take part heads and members of Presidium of interdepartmental working groups and expert-advisory group of Council on development of information society under Russian President, representatives of Russian regions, international organizations and foreign countries, heads of companies – developers and integrators of solutions in the sphere of information-communication technologies.

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov said at the meeting with Director and executive vice-president of “Yokogawa Electric Corporation” Teruyoshi Minaki that republic is interested in further cooperation with the company. The meeting was held in House of RT government. Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed guests and noted that good partnership relations had formed between Tatarstan and “Yokogawa Electric Corporation”. He reminded that Technical centre of company’s branch on the basis of innovative techno park “Idea” was opened in November, 2008. Today technical specialists, students are training here, engineers improve their skills.

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov met with delegation of company “Air Liquid” headed by Senior Vice-president Jan Pier Duprie in a House of RT Government. Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed guests and thanked for successful cooperation in projects on the territory of Tatarstan. He reminded that “Air Liquid” participated in realization of project - production of glass fibre as a supplier of technical gas. The plant had been launched recently in special economic zone “Alabuga” (joint enterprise “Price Deimler Tatneft-Alabuga Steklovolokno”).

On July 6, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Moldova in Russia Andrey Negutsa at the Kazan Kremlin. The perspectives of further development of relationships were discussed. Today, it is vital to find forms of interaction in a lot of issues between the Russian Federation and its regions and the Republic of Moldova, Rustam Minnikhanov said. He thanked Mister Andrey Negutsa for his visit to Tatarstan and for the fact that Moldova обратила свое внимание на one of the Russian regions.

On July 6, the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and JSC MegaFon signed the Agreement on cooperation in the sphere of development of Information and Communication Technologies and Services. The document was signed at the Kazan Kremlin by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov and Director General of JSC MegaFon Sergey Soldatenkov. President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the event.

For last three weeks there has appeared a tendency of decreasing the rates of housing construction for veterans and documents registration. This was said by RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov at the meeting on issue of constructing houses for war veterans registered after March, 1, 2005. The meeting was held in format of video conference with participation of all municipal regions of republic.

Secretary of political council of Tatarstan regional branch of the party “United Russia”, Chairman of RT State Council Farid Mukhametshin announced at session of political council that a party government has been formed in Tatarstan. Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in the session. Farid Mukhametshin noted that such session is normally held 100 days before municipal elections. 7954 deputies are to be elected in municipal formations of Tatarstan.
