Rustam Minnikhanov held the board meeting of RT Ministry of youth affairs, sports and tourism covering its work in 2008 and tasks for 2009.

During the last week the number of unemployed people increased by 4 000 people. The information was presented at the meeting of republican interdepartmental commission on living standards improvement and income legalization held by RT First deputy PM Ravil Muratov.

The plans on taxation fixed before Management of Federal tax service (FTS) of Russia on Republic of Tatarstan in 2008 have been performed. This was stated by acting head of FTS Management on RT Marat Safiullin on joint final collegium of RT Ministry of Finance, FTS Management on RT and Management of Federal exchequer on RT.

By results of 2008 139,2 billion roubles, including tax and not tax incomes - 114,9 billion roubles, federal means - 24,3 billion roubles have entered the consolidated budget of Republic Tatarstan.

Chief of Kazan inter-district nature-conservative prosecution, Oleg Daminov said: “Use of low-quality motor fuel and oil worsens the situation with harmful emissions in atmosphere”
Briefing on issues of low – quality motor fuel and oil used in Tatarstan was held in RT Cabinet. According to Oleg Daminov in 2008 harmful emissions in atmosphere only from auto transport reached 330 000 tones - 54,9 % of total volume of harmful emissions in the republic. The number of cars in republic increases annually. In 2007 the growth of cars among physical persons made up 78,5 thousand units. Last year the tendency was the same.

There have been discussed results of the company budget realization in 2008, budget for February and first quarter of 2009. The questions in sphere of transport service were discussed at the regular session of Economic council at the Cabinet of Republic Tatarstan. Head of the government, Rustam Minnikhanov held the session.
Opening the session, RT Prime Minister noted, that first of all, in conditions of a world economic crisis it is important to provide with work a transport complex of the republic, to preserve an available potential, personnel structure, and the volumes of cargo-and passenger flow of traffic.
