On August 30, on the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Kazan City Day, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived at “Kazan” Family Center to see the concert.

On August 30, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Minister of Communications and Mass Media Nikolay Nikiforov, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, and other officials attended a festive horse race that was held on the occasion of the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan. The sports equestrian event has become international this year.

On August 30, at their meeting at the Kazan race track, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Executive Director of the World Arabian Horse-racing Festival Lara Sawaya discussed promising areas of cooperation in the field of horse breeding and development of racing industry.

On August 30, at their meeting at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Minister of Communications and High Technologies of Republic of Azerbaijan Ramin Guluzade discussed promising areas of cooperation in the development of technoparks and exchange of experience in creating different information products.

On August 30, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Culture of the republic Airat Sibagatullin, and other officials met participants of the II Regional ethno-confessional festival “Mosaic of cultures” at “Kazan” Family Center. The festival aims to tell dwellers and guests of the city about rich national and religious culture of Tatarstan.

On August 30, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President Asgat Safarov, Aide to Tatarstan President Leila Fazleeva, Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin, members of Russian State Duma and other officials took part in events dedicated to the Republic Day.

On August 30, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Transport Maksim Sokolov opened the second construction stage of the bridge over the Kama River.
