On September 16, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov is on an official visit to Sochi to attend the 12th Russia-Kazakhstan interregional cooperation forum as a member of the Russian delegation, led by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

On September 15, at the Kazan Kremlin, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Slovenia’s Foreign Affairs Minister Karl Erjavec signed a memorandum on cooperation in economy, research, technology, environmental protection, culture, and other fields between the government of Tatarstan and government of Republic of Slovenia.

On September 15, Deputy Chairman of Slovenian Government, Minister of foreign affairs of Slovenia, Co-chairman of Intergovernmental Russia-Slovenia commission for trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation Karl Erjavec, Russian Minister of culture Vladimir Medinsky and Russian Minister of Communications and Mass Media Nikolay Nikiforov arrived in Kazan to take part in a session of Intergovernmental Russia-Slovenia commission.

Rustam Minnikhanov is receiving greetings on his election as Tatarstan President. Representatives of federal authorities, leaders of foreign states, foreign political leaders, Russian and foreign businessmen, heads of big industrial companies, representatives of cultural, educational and sports spheres are sending letters, telegrams, and greetings.

On September 15, at a business breakfast of the Investors Club of the Republic of Tatarstan, President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov said that regional government should be aware of problems faced by foreign and local investors, who run their business in the republic. He noted that the meeting was initiated by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency headed by Taliya Minullina.

On September 15, at the Kazan Kremlin Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the President of Niles-Simmons-Hegenscheidt company John Oliver Naumann.

On September 15, Chairman of Central Election Commission of the Republic of Tatarstan Ekzam Gubaidullin handed over a certificate of Tatarstan President to Rustam Minnikhanov.
