Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu has congratulated the State Counselor of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaymiyev with his 85-th birthday.

At a meeting with State Counselor of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaymiyev in Kazan on 20 January, The Kazan and Tatarstan Metropolitan Kirill read out the congratulation from His Holiness the Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia to Shaymiyev with his 85-th birthday.

Speaking at a ceremony opening the All-Russian Fire Games for the Cup of the Tatarstan Prime Minister held in Kazan with participation of 400 people from 15 regions of Russia, the Russian Deputy Emergencies Minister Nikolay Grechushkin has said that the  fire-fighting and fire-rescue sports is the sports for strong and courageous people.

At a ceremony of handing in fire and rescue vehicles to units of the Chief Directorate of Russian Emergencies Ministry in Tatarstan on 20 January, the Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin said the units servicemen that lives of people depend on their quick response.

On 18 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in meeting of the regional Department of Federal National Guard Troops Service presided by the Head of the Department Major-General Rustem Gumerov.

Speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, IT and Communications Ayrat Khayrullin has said that more than 1bn roubles will be allocated on provision of wireless Internet access in schools of the republic.

On January 15, speaking at the Government House of the republic at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, Deputy Director of the Foundation « Institute for the Development of Cities of Tatarstan», Coordinator of the presidential programme «Our Yard» Venus Kamalova said that Our Yard programme for 2020-2021 covered 2,169 households in Tatarstan.
