OJSC “Tatneft” regular Committee of Directors meeting chaired by Rustam Minnikhanov, Prime Minister of the Republiic of Tatarstan, Chairman of OJSC “Tataneft” Committee of Directors, took place today in Almetyevsk.

Today in thу House of Government the Cooperation agreement was signed between the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and “Turk Capital Holding” company. On the part of the RT Ministry of Economy the document was signed by Marat Safiullin, from the part of “Turk Capital Holding” – by the Executive Officer of the company Fawaz K. Al-Issa.

Tuesday, June 22, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Igor Manylov arrived in Kazan with working visit. The object of the visit was the acquaintance with current activities of territorial bodies of the Real Estate Cadaster Federal Agency and Federal Registration Service in the republic, solution of problems with coordination of these activities and the discussion of upcoming incorporation of the bodies into integrated federal structure.

Today Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan received the delegation of Uganda. It was the return visit of African guests (Tatarstan delegation had previously visited Uganda in May 2008). Chairman of the Committee of Directors of MTN Company and Secretary General of National Sport Union of Uganda Jaspers Aligaves arrived in the capital of the republic.

Today the participants of the RT Cabinet Presidium meeting chaired by Rustam Minnikhanov, the Head of the Government, approved the complex programme of the Republic of Tatarstan demographic development till 2010 and prospect of demographic development till 2030.

Today RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov met representatives of CJSC ING Bank (Eurasia) in the House of Government of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting took a familiarization character. CJSC ING Bank (Eurasia) was represented by General Director Aleksandr Pisaruk (he was appointed in June 2007).

Gross regional product in Tatarstan for January – March 2008 made up 305 billion rubles with the growth of 8% in comparison with the same period in 2007, said Minister of Economy, Marat Safiullin, speaking at traditional brifing at the House of Government.

Ceremonial reception devoted to Master of Business Administration (MBA) graduates of Kazan State Financial and Economic Institute took place in Kazan town hall. First Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Boris Pavlov on behalf of the Cabinet of Tatarstan congratulated the audience on that important event.

The 3rd venture fair has today opened in Kazan. The exhibition features many interesting developments revealing the Tatarstan’s economic potential, said the Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov.

Today, the Assistant to the Prime Minister for foreign-economic activity Iskander Muflikhanov talked to journalists about the results of working visit of Tatarstan delegation led by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov to the USA (Colorado).
