On 23 December, reporting about current operational fire situation at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with all municipalities of the republic, the Deputy Head of the Chief Fire Department of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in Tatarstan Konstantin Chanyshev informed that in the current year there have been 4 798 fires killing 134 people, which was by 11 per cent more than during the same period last year.
On 21 December a meeting of the regional Commission on Prevention and Mitigation of Emergencies and Fire Prevention held in the Government House of the republic by Tatarstan First Deputy Prime Minister Rustam Nigmatullin with all municipalities taking part in it via video conference, discussed measures on providing comprehensive safety of population during New Year and Christmas celebrations.
On December 20, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated workers and old stagers of the Russia Federal Security Service on their professional holiday.
On 18 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a voluntary action “Christmas Tree of wishes”, where he took one of post cards with a wish from children from the Christmas tree erected in the lobby of the regional State Council.
The Prime Minister will fulfill a wish of a 10 year old boy Bilaletdin from Almetyevsk who is dreaming of a bicycle.
On 12 December, speaking at a briefing in the Government house of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Culture Irada Ayupova informed that in 2023 Tatarstan has allocated 1.595bn rubles, including 692m from the federal and 393m from the regional budgets, on the Culture National Project.
Congratulating residents of Tatarstan with the Fatherland’s Heroes Day, the Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:” This day we pay a tribute to the memory of the fallen heroes, who did and died in action, and also give credit to those who live among us today – people who perform heroic deeds in peaceful time, selflessly and devotedly making precious contribution into strengthening safety of our country, its might and integrity.
On December 5, in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin chaired a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Tatenergo Company on the results of nine-month work of the company.
On December 5, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, the Chairman of Tatarstan State Committee for Tariffs Aleksandr Grunichev said that scheduled indexation of utility tariffs will occur in all regions of Russia from July 1, 2024, after a one and a half year break. There was no indexation in 2023.
“In accordance with the requirements of federal legislation, the State Committee of the republic on Tariffs is obliged to approve tariffs for 2024 by December 20 of the current year. Tariffs will be calculated taking into account the socio-economic development forecast indicators approved by the Russian Government,” Grunichev said.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov together with representatives of the administration of the City of Hangzhou took part in a ceremony of opening an office of the Innopolis University in China, which will be used for promotion of the University and Tatarstan products and educational services in the Chinese market and fostering of the mutually beneficial trade turnover.
On 1 December, speaking at a videoconference held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with all municipalities of the republic with the participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic, the regional First Deputy Minister of Agriculture Lenar Garipov said that both federal and regional budgets maintained the full support of rural territories.
