Tatarstan’s Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov participated in a teleconference on issues of holding All-Russia civil defence training held by Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev. Ildar Khalikov delivered a speech addressed to chiefs of ministries and agencies, enterprises and organisations involved in implementation of civil defence measures who gathered at the Government House. He said that training and population warning is an important part of civil defence.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with Director General of CNH International Franco Fusignani.Tatarstan’s Vice-premier and Minister of agriculture and foodstuff Marat Akhmetov, Aide to the Tatarstan President Airat Khairullin, Director General of OJSC KAMAZ Sergei Kogogin , Director General of OOO “CNH – KAMAZ – Industry” Timur Nuriakhmetov were present at the meeting.

“Tatarstan leadership has always focused on the experience of the older generation and taken into account wise advices of veterans,” Tatarstan’s Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov said at a jubilee conference dated to the 25th anniversary of the Public organisation of veterans (pensioners) of the Republic of Tatarstan.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with experts of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), advisory body of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee, Mr Visy Zsolt and Mr Gergely Nagy. Tatarstan’s State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev, Minister of culture Airat Sibagatullin, Aide to the RT President on social issues Tatyana Larionova participated in the meeting.

President of Tatarstan has met with Chief of the Russian Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring Aleksandr Frolov and Secretary General of the World Meteorological Organization Michael Jaro.Minister of ecology and natural resources Artem Sidorov, Aide to the RT President on economic issues Airat Khairullin, and Chief of the Tatarstan Department for hydrometeorology and environmental monitoring Sergei Zakharov were present at the meeting at the Government House.

The International Scientific Conference on the regional aspects of hydrometeorology and environmental monitoring has opened in Kazan. More than 200 scientists and specialists take part in the event.Secretary General of the World Meteorological Organization Michael Jaro especially arrived in Kazan to attend the conference.
