On July 13, speaking at the Oil Summit in the village of Karabash, Bugulma region of Tatarstan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that according to preliminary data in the first half of 2016 Tatarstan has produced 17.288 million tonnes of oil, which is 4.1 per cent more than in the previous year .
On July 13, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has paid a working visit to Bugulma region of Tatarstan, which is hosting a traditional oil summit at the Neptun recreation center in the village of Karabash.
Upon his arrival in the village of Karabash, Minnikhanov accompanied by Director General of Tatneft Oil Company Nail Maganov and other officials looked around information stands of some enterprises, including Tatneft Oil Company, Kazan Federal University, and others. They presented the advanced technologies used in the oil industry as well as research and development in terms of operation of wells, development of new deposits, including the extraction of super-viscous oil.
