On September 3, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in official opening of Russia’s first Ford engine plant FordSollers in Specialized Economic Zone “Alabuga” (Yelabuga, Tatarstan). Before the official opening, Rustam Minnikhanov looked around the plant.

On September 2, at his meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cuba to Russia Emilio Lozada Garcia at the Tatarstan Government House, Interim President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov thanked him for his assistance in developing relations between Cuba and Tatarstan. He noted that a number of projects in the sphere of pharmaceutics, engineering and aviation are implemented in cooperation with Cuban companies.

On September 2, in his interview after a roundtable “Expansion of regional chemical and petrochemical products in capital construction” that was held during Tatarstan Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Forum 2015 in Kazan, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan and Bashkortostan enterprises should cooperate more actively.

On September 2, during Tatarstan Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Forum, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov to discuss further cooperation between the regions in petrochemical and engineering industries.

On September 2, at a plenary session of International research and practice conference “Specific Features of Exploration and Development of Unconventional Hydrocarbon Deposits” that was held during Tatarstan Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Forum in Kazan, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that super viscous and light oil are main resources that will help to increase oil production in Tatarstan.

On September 2, at a briefing at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, Chairman of the Central election commission of the republic Ekzam Gubaidullin informed that early voting at elections of Tatarstan President and deputies of representative municipal authorities of the republic began.

On September 2, Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov, who arrived on a working trip in Kazan, was met by Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and other officials at Kazan international airport.

On September 2, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by mufti of the republic Kamil hazrat visited the Galeev mosque, a cultural heritage site in Kazan that is being reconstructed.
