From the bottom of my heart, I congratulate you on a unique Russian folk holiday “Karavon” to be held in Nikolskoe village of Laishevo district! Having  great spiritual strength  and  inexhaustible creative potential accumulated by the Russian people throughout  many centuries, the holiday brings its own  uniqueness in bright and lively multinational culture of Tatarstan.

On May 22, in Kazan Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a quarterly meeting with heads of small oil companies of the republic. The meeting summed up the results of the regional oil industry in the first quarter, prospects for further development, new industry developments.

On May 22, in Kazan Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Russian Communist Party Gennady Zyuganov, Minister of Culture of the republic Airat Sibagatullin, Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin and other officials visited the Lenin memorial house, built in 1937, reopened after large reconstruction.

On May 22,during their meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation fraction at the Russian State Duma Gennady Zyuganov discussed the issues related to economic and social development of the Republic of Tatarstan, work of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation fraction at the Russian State Duma and support to WW II veterans. 

On May 22, upon completion of the board session of the Association of innovative regions of Russia in Tomsk,Acting President of Tatarstan Republic Rustam Minnikhanov met Governor of Tomsk Region  Sergey Zhvachkin to discuss collaboration between the two regions in scientific-technical and industrial fields.

On May 22, speaking at a regular board session of the Association of innovative regions of Russia in Tomsk, Acting President of Tatarstan Republic and Board Chairman of the Association  Rustam Minnikhanov said that activity of the Association for the last five years can be highly appreciated. 

On 22 May, during his working visit to Tomsk,Acting President of Tatarstan Republic Rustam Minnikhanov is to chair a regular board session of the Association of innovative regions of Russia, dedicated to 5th anniversary of its foundation. Rustam Minnikhanov is expected to make a report there. 

On May 21, speaking at the opening of the All-Russian Forum in procurement for state and municipal needs held in Kazan, Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, said that Tatarstan pays special attention to the public procurement, with more than 280,000 contracts and agreements for a total amount of 86.1 million roubles concluded in 2014, which is among the highest indictors in the Volga Federal District.
