On May 31 at a republican meeting held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services Irek Faizullin reported that as on May 30 983,3 m ² of housing (41 per cent of the annual plan) have been commissioned in Tatarstan.
On May 31 President of Gambia Yahya Jammeh visited Tatarstan. Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov met with African delegation at the international airport “Kazan”.

On May 30 at a meeting at Tatarstan Government House President Rustam Minnikhanov and academician of Russian and Tatarstan Academy of Sciences, professor of the University of Maryland Roald Sagdeev discussed issues of development of the Russian science and further cooperation.
On May 30 during their visit to Kazan Cooperative Institute Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Board Chairman of Central Union of Consumer Cooperatives Evgeny Kuznetsov looked over the institute building, lecture rooms, conference hall and other premises.

On May 29 at their meeting in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Abdulla Abbas, Doctor of biology, professor of the Institute of biology and biotechnologies (Xinjiang University, China), academician of Tatarstan Academy of Sciences, discussed prospects of cooperation between Tatarstan and Chinese scientists.
First session of the new Board of OAO “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding” chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov was held at Tatarstan Government House on May 29 where they discussed organisation of Tatarstan Oil. Gas. Chemistry forum in Kazan.
Answering journalists’ questions in Mustafino village (Orenburg region), where he came to take part in opening of the museum complex named after Musa Dzhalil, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan and Orenburg region are neighbours and cooperate in trade-economic, cultural, educational and social spheres.
