During his working trip to Naberezhnye Chelny Russian Minister of Defence, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu presented Pennant of the Russian Ministry of Defence to Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov for the victory in the contest for best training of citizens for military service and organisation of military conscription among Russian regions in 2012.
On June 8 during his working trip to Tatarstan (Naberezhnye Chelny) Russian Minister of Defence Sergei Shoigu visited OJSC “KAMAZ”. Accompanied by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and employees of the enterprise Sergei Shoigu looked over production departments, research and technical centre.
Russian Minister of Defence Sergei Shoigu, who arrived in Tatarstan with one-day working visit, was met by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and executives of OAO “KAMAZ” in “Begishevo” international airport.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated citizens on Sabantui.

On June 7 heads of security and law enforcement services of foreign countries – partners of the Russian Federal Security Service, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Director of Federal Security Service Aleksandr Bortnikov took part in Sabantui celebrations in Laishevo region.
On June 7 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with Deputy Chairman of the Russian Constitutional Court Sergei Mavrin, who came to Kazan to take part in a session of the Constitutional Council of chairmen of constitutional and statutory courts themed “Protection of social rights of citizens in decisions of constitutional courts of the Russian Federation”.
On June 7 at his meeting with first Vice-president of OAO “Russian railways” Aleksandr Misharin in Kazan Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan leadership is interested in construction of high-speed railway line between Moscow and Kazan and is willing to render overall support in the project implementation.
