Rustam Minnikhanov: I am sure that we will make Innopolis the most attractive place

On June 9, a meeting of Chairman of Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev with Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov was held at A.S.Popov technopark in the innovative satellite city “Innopolis”.
Innopolis was officially opened today with the participation of Dmitry Medvedev, Russian Minister of Communications and Mass Media Nikolay Nikiforov, Russian Vice-premier Arkady Dvorkovich and other officials.
“Today we see the result – a modern innovative center. We see the new city that will be growing and developing, and will become the center of information technologies in Tatarstan and Russia. It is a good example of private-state partnership supported by the regional and government programmes,” Medvedev said. He stated that the first decisions have been implemented, and it is time to discuss prospects.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the right plan and a good infrastructure of Innopolis were developed with the participation of local specialists in a short time.
“I am sure that we will do Innopolis the most attractive place. Our task is to create certain environment to attract young people from Russia and other countries. Therefore, we would like to ask Russian Government to continue supporting this project, and we will do our best on our part,” Minnikhanov said.

On 24 February during his working trip to Zelenodolsk region of the republic, the Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a joint meeting of the Council of Zelenodolsk Municipality and the Council of the town of Zelenodolsk dedicated to results of social and economic development of the region in 2024 and tasks for 2025 and held in the Center of Cultural Development of Zelenodolsk.
On 24 February during his working trip to Zelenodolsk region Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin together with the Head of the region Mikhail Afanasyev took part in a ceremony of handing in medals “80 years to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII)” to two war veterans, a residents of the blockaded Leningrad and the home front worker living in the region.

On 18 February during his working trip to the Village of Verkhniy Uslon Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin had a meeting with the home front worker Khazyar Shaykhlislamova, who was born on 26 December 1929 and during all years of the WWII worked as a milkmaid in the Izmerskiy sovkhoz, and handed her in a jubilee medal dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.
