RT Prime Minister held the session of Economic Committee. Marat Safiullin, RT Minister of Economy reported on current situation in republic.
Also Ilshat Fardiev, General Director of “Tatenergo” JSC informed about the problems in energetics.
Rustam Akhmetov, Deputy General Director of “Nizhnekamsknefethim” JSC reported on economic situation at the enterprise and working results for 2008.

Tatarstan delegation headed by B.P.Pavlov, First Deputy Prime Minister participates in first international Forum of nanotechnologies which was opened in Moscow. The delegation is presented by Alexander Kogogin, RT Minister of Industry and Trade, Nail Gubaev, Deputy Minister of Economy, Askhat Gumerov, Vice-President of RT Academy of Sciences, German Dyakonov, Rector of Kazan State Technological University (Kazan Chemical-Technological Institute), Gennadiy Degtyarev, the President of Kazan State Technical University (Kazan Aircraft Institute).

Tariff Committee confirmed new prices for heat and power. Marina Fairushina, Head of RT Tariff Committee told that republic authorities confirm tariffs according to Federal Tariff Service. In 2009 electricity will cost 2,03-2,07 RUR per 1 Kwt/h. Republic Committee confirmed 2,04 RUR per 1 Kwt/h (2008-1,63 RUR per 1 Kwt/h). Heat power produced by heat stations will cost 384 RUR per 1 Gcal. Retail price for gas will make 2,3 RUR per cubic metre, after July, 1 – 2,58 RUR.

Timur Shagivaleev, Head of RT Committee for small and medium enterprises development informed that pilot project “Quick legal assistance” for businessmen will be started in Kazan in December. Rustam Minnikhanov underlined that it will render support for small business and is really urgent in economic crisis situation.

Rustam Minnikhanov met with Teruyoshi Minaki, the President of “Yokogawa Electric International” Company.
RT Prime Minister confirmed that Tatarstan Government is interested in cooperation with the company. He supposes that opening of “Yokogawa technical center” in Kazan proves this fact. Opening of Decision-making Center will be the next step.

Marat Bariev, RT Minister of Sport, of Youth, Sports and Tourism and Rufina Golubeva, Deputy Minister of Health Care discussed holding of the Year of Sport and healthy life style – 2009 announced by RT President.

Rustam Minnikhanov held videoconference session in RT Cabinet. It was devoted to realization of RT President Order № PO-610 dated 14.11.2007 “Additional measures to provide road safety in Tatarstan”. All municipal districts of republic took part in the meeting.

The meeting was devoted to development of trade and economic cooperation. The Republic of Tatarstan was presented by Albert Shigabutdinov, General Director of “TAIF” JSC, Leonid Alekhin, General Director of “Orgsintez” JSC, Robert Minnegaleev, Chairman of “Ak Bars” Bank Administration, Rinat Sabirov, Aide to Prime Minister on oil-gas and chemical Complex, Iskander Muflikhanov, Aide to Prime Minister on foreign economic activity.

The meeting was held in RT Government House chaired by Rustam Minnikhanov, RT Prime Minister. It was devoted to work results of bank credit organizations in Tatarstan under world economic crisis conditions. Economic Council under RT Cabinet was created to control the situation in social-economic sphere.
