Republic target program of preservation, revival, research and development of Peoples’ Artistic Works in Tatarstan for 2009-2011 was discussed at the session of RT Cabinet Presidium “Preservation and development of Peoples’ Artistic Works in Tatarstan”.

Rustam Minnikhanov, RT Prime Minister met with representatives of Foreign Investment Advisory Service (FIAS) in RT Government House. They discussed cooperation for improving investment climate in Tatarstan.

Members of RT Association of enterprises and businessmen, Heads of large enterprises, municipal districts, representatives of republic and territorial federal RT executive bodies and financial organizations discussed the work of industrial enterprises in Tatarstan under world financial crisis conditions. Rustam Minnikhanov, RT Prime Minister took part in the meeting.

Sergey Borisov, the President of All-Russia public organization of small and medium enterprises “Opora Rossii” presented Rustam Minnikhanov, RT Prime Minister with the grateful letter. It was announced by the order of Dmitry Medvedev, the President of Russian Federation.

Rustam Minnikhanov, RT Prime Minister and Rafis Galiev, the Head of Aznakaevo district discussed the problems of the area. RT Prime Minister announced that modern agriculture is in need of new approach – total renewal of equipment and technologies. Rafis Galiev, the Head of Aznakaevo district informed that it is behind in renewal of communal infrastructure. There’s a problem of slum dwelling liquidation as well. The priority problem in local policy is road construction. Moreover, many basic educational institutions, village club, maternity hospital, Physical Training House, Home for Elderly People, and Rehabilitation Centre for Disabled People are to be repaired.

Sergey Levkin, General Director of “Special economic areas” JSC and Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of RT Government discussed the problems of further development of industrial-production special economic area “Alabuga” at the meeting in RT Cabinet.

Mintimer Shaimiev announced in his yearly speech to RT State Council that we need economy in the period of finance crisis. According to his words republic is able to go through the crises in appropriate manner. RT President told about economy and exclusion of funds misuse. Chamber of Accounts has to play the most important role in this problem.

Boris Pavlov took part in the 2nd international summit “Investments for Russian regions” which took place in “Marriot Grand Hotel”, Moscow. He told about priority industrial investment and innovative projects in republic that are attractive for Russian and foreign investors. Some potential investors were interested in report and exposition (European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, “Gasprombank” JSC, “Institute of regional policy”, “National Compatibility Council “, “Transport workers and businessmen Union”).

Lyudmila Nugumanova, Deputy Minister of Education and Science informed that 25 000 graduate students of comprehensive schools, 3300 people from primary and professional education institutions, 800 people who served in RF Armed Forces are going to pass the exam.

Rustam Minnikhanov met with Mr. Azif Ayaz, the Head of Arabic Trade Center (Kuwait) and representatives of “CGGC International” company (China). Also Ildus Faskhutdinov, RT Minister of Transport and Road Service, Rauzil Khaziev, RT Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing, Valery Sorokin, General Director of “Svyazinvestneftehim” JSC and others were at the meeting.
