On February 5, at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and President – Board Chairman of the United Aircraft Corporation Yuri Slyusar discussed the functioning of the Kazan Gorbunov Aviation Plant and prospects of the company development.

On February 5, at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with CEO of the Association of European Businesses Frank Schauff, who arrived in Kazan to participate in the International Automotive Forum held by the Association on February 5-6.

On February 5, at their meeting at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Masimov discussed that Kazakhstan is interested in Tatarstan experience in the field of oil production, refining and petrochemical industry, natural gas vehicles, while Tatarstan is interested in the experience of Kazakh partners in the banking sector, particularly in Islamic banking, as well as in international cooperation, including with China.

On February 5, speaking at the joint collegium session of Chief Department of Russian Ministry of emergency situations on Tatarstan Republic and Tatarstan Ministry of Civil Defence and Emergency Situations, head of Tatarstan Ministry of Emergency Situations,  lieutenant-general of Internal service Rafis Khabibullin said that approximately 8,000 Tatarstan citizens were rescued by employees of the ministry in 2014. 

On February 5, at the sports arena of the Main Department of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies in Tatarstan, the XI All-Russian fire-fighting sport competitions for Tatarstan Prime Minister Cup and the VI winter fire-fighting championships of Russian Emergencies Ministry Volga regional center of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies opened.

On February 4, during its visit to Kazan IT Park, “Eidos” medical center and Kazan helicopter plant, Kazakhstan delegation led by Prime Minister Karim Masimov were accompanied by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Kazakhstan Mikhail Bocharnikov. 

On February 4, at Tatarstan Govermnent House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with ice hockey legend Phil Esposito. 

On February 4, at Tatarstan Government House, acting Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held the session of Operations Office on monitoring markets for agricultural products, raw materials and foodstuffs on the territory of Tatarstan Republic.

On February 4, speaking at the joint collegium session of Tatarstan Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and Tatarstan Department of Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Natural Resource Use on outcomes of their activity in 2014 and setting tasks for 2015, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the two agencies contribute significantly to the development of the republic.
